During our six weeks together, we will explore a range of clay techniques that will allow us to complete a couple of projects. Using the potter’s wheel, the techniques of assembling and altering, and a few other fun methods, students will learn to create several items (for example, a handled mug). This class is for all levels and will include demonstrations, but will not be focused on just wheel throwing instruction.
